Travel & Do is an ongoing cultural travel project of the Greek non-profit company called Hellenic Tao.  The project's aim is to promote Greek culture to selected travel groups and at the same time let the Greek local communities and selected local environmental NGOs be supported in a sustainable way by the visit of those groups to Greece.

Our company Hellenic Tao is legally entitled to conduct workshops and seminars, organize congresses and events, provide cultural education, offer tours and excursions. We have teamed up with three travel agencies, as well as with numerous hotels, guesthouses and tour guides all over Greece in order to fulfil any travel requirement.

Philosophy and mission in detail

Our general aim is to ensure that our holiday packages will benefit the Greek communities, as we fully appreciate the economic, social and environmental impact of tourist visits on local areas. All of our eco-friendly travel services are based on, and further promote, sustainability, fair-trade & social awareness, without the side-effect of exploiting human, natural or social resources. We are committed to a sustainable, non-destructive form of travelling, which respects and promotes the environmental wealth and the cultural heritage of Greece.

Within the framework of these principles, our specific goal is to offer you joyful and meaningful travel in such a way that you will return home with invaluable memories and rich feelings for the people and teachers you have met, the friends you have made and the experiences we have co-created, like: Natural farming, holistic self-healing, eco-activities in nature, expressive arts, traditional Greek cultural activities and much more.
