While I am sure many of you are already aware of this, there is also a World Commission on Protected Areas report, commissioned by UNEP, WTO and IUCN with helpful Guidelines for Planning and Management entitled "Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas".

This is an excellent piece of work and well worth reading. For businesses interested in some of the techniques required to carry out research related to managing their business in a protected area, I recommend you look at the Linking Tourism, Communities and Conservation, A tourism assessment process by Gutierrez, et. al. which is an excellent practical guide.
