What is EEN

The European Ecotourism Network (EEN) is a network of relevant stakeholders aiming to ensure that ecotourism services in Europe contribute to a genuine conservation and sustainability effort. Its objectives are multiple and multi-disciplinary, but all lead to one ultimate aim: the promotion of ecotourism on a European level.

EEN supports the development and implementation of the European Ecotourism Labelling Standard (EETLS) - an initiative that ensures baseline standards of quality in ecotourism. The EETLS has also been officially recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
