Our Hotel Des Roses is a relaxed family hotel in the lovely village of Platanias, South Pelion, Greece. The hotel consists of 14 rooms and a large colorful garden where visitors can enjoy nature while taking their breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant serves Greek local healthy food made exclusively by the owner’s wife. Since 2004, the hotel’s owner, Nikos Dovas, organized eco-tourist activities around Platanias area in the context of sustainable tourism development. Our guests may visit our organic soap-making workshop www.pelionnaturalsoap.gr and learn how to create organic handmade soap. Additionally, they can participate in the wooden loom presentation at the premises of our hotel. Our goal is to create our own farm with organic vegetables and domestic animals to be self-sufficient in our food supply and at the same time offer healthy agricultural products to our guests.
