The association Y.E.S. (Youth Europe Service) was born in January 1999.
Y.E.S. is a no profit Tourist and environmental association which, with Christian, democratic principles, respecting the personal freedom, wants to realise, in the social and environmental field:

It is registered in the Regional Register of the Associations.
It is member of the network “The Youth European Network” and the “European Ecotourism Network”
It is the promoter of the European Network named E.N.L.T. - EUROPEAN NETWORK OF LOCAL TOURISM.
It was also (till November 2008) part of the network C.T.S. (CENTRE OF TOURISM FOR STUDENTS).
It was recognized by Presidency of Minister’s Council as Organization of National Civil Service.
The association was AWARDED by the EC for its LLP Grundtvig Learning Partnership project titled “Sustainable Educational Approaches to Landscape” in May 2103: the project was considered a STAR PROJECT.
This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
The European Ecotourism Knowledge Network (ECOLNET) is a 3-year project (2010-2013) co-financed by the European Commission, Lifelong Learning Programme, Transversal Programmes, Key Activity 3-ICT Networks.

Thanks! I know that an other organistaion from our town aske d for membership: it is EURO-NET but I talked now with the responsible (we are friends) and she said me that they have not received the approval of their membership... Why? It is strange because they are very experienced and they have realised a lot of projects (also a LIFE..)
